Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. Romans 10:1 Lift up the Jewish people before God in prayer so that their hearts may be softened and receive the Word of God, which is the gospel of Jesus Christ; that their ears may be opened to hear the truth; and so their eyes may be opened so that they can see the kingdom of God is near.
We believe that these goals are from the heart of the LORD God. A local Messianic Jew, Larry Walguarnery (June 2001), has suggested this sample prayer: Our God, God of the Jew; rise, come and reach, be noted, be favored, be heard, be considered, and be remembered: the remembrance of Your chosen people, the remembrance of Your Entire People, the family of ISRAEL before You; for deliverance, for goodness, for grace, for kindness, and for compassion, for life and for Peace on this Day of Deliverance from their enemies. Remember the Jew on this day, O Lord our God, for goodness; consider the Jew this day for blessing; and help the Jew to have life. In the matter of salvation, be gracious and compassionate with the Jew by helping them, for their help can only come from you because you are their God, their gracious and compassionate King. O Lord, we implore you to have mercy on Your people; to spare the lives of all who are ISRAEL, and cause all of ISRAEL to know You, Father, through MESSIAH YESHUA HAMOSCHIACH. It is in HIS Holy Name that we pray and make these requests. AMEN.
