THE
WORSHIP CHOIR is an all-age choir that ministers in worship
services along with instrumental musicians. We sing praise and
worship music, anthems, and do special programs for holidays and
other activities. Families are encouraged to come together and
sing praises to our God. ALL ARE WELCOME ! Rehearsals are on
Friday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 PM.

THE
PRAISE TEAM is a group of instrumentalists and vocalists
that leads worship music of all styles. Special concert/worship
appearances by this group happen in locations outside the
church several times a year. In the past the Praise Team has
specialized in contemporary expressions of music and worship,
but we are expanding our horizons now into many representations
of artistic worship, including jazz, gospel, and other styles. Currently
we are in need of 1-2 extra soloists/vocal team members for this
team, as well as a guitarist and a saxophone player!
ENGLISH HANDBELLS Added in 2003, this group of
musicians consists of 9 or more musicians who ring a beautiful
3-octave set of Schulmerich handbells in glorious splendor.
Commitment to this ministry is usually seasonal, with 3 month
commitments leading up to Christmas and Easter each year. All
participants must have some music reading ability.
A list of eligible bell ringers is
constantly being updated, so make sure that you express your
interest in participating in this ministry.
CHURCH ORCHESTRA Added in 2004 this is a
small but growing group of instrumentalists who play in worship
regularly. While we have specialized in traditional church
music in the past, we are now playing new styles of music, and
merging in unity with other musical groups in the church to lift
praises to God. Currently we have
clarinet, trumpet, violin, trombone, flute, guitar, percussion,
bass clarinet - but more instrumentalists are needed. VOLUNTEER
TODAY ! Instrumentalists are always welcome and
needed, and church membership is not required - all you need is
a desire to play!
