Cresthill Baptist
Church has an active Men's Ministry program providing an
opportunity for Christian men to have fellowship and to minister
to each other and others in the name of Jesus Christ. Its goal is
to foster and nurture men to become living examples of what God
can do and has done in their lives, once they begin to seek His
will instead of their own.
Outreach to
Cresthill's
Boy Scout Troop 1283 is also a part of the Men's
Ministry Program. Cresthill men served in adult leadership
positions within the Troop, participate on Eagle Scout review
boards, counsel Scouts on various merit badges, and bestow
personalized Bibles to Scouts obtaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
Fellowship
Breakfasts are held at the church usually the second Saturday of
each month, except July and August. They begin at 8:00am and end
at 10:00am. For $4.00, good food and fellowship are the hallmarks
of this event. Featured speakers are invited to discuss topics
intended to support and nurture stronger men of God within our
church. Guests are always welcomed and are entitled to attend
their first time free of charge.
Part of the funds
raised by the Fellowship breakfasts goes to support the
Men's
Family Ministry program. This program provides church members as
well as citizens of the Bowie community assistance with minor home
and auto repairs, household essentials, transportation, and
emergency funds to meet housing needs.
