FULL-TIME Preschool remains OPEN unless
there is severe weather that causes the Federal Government
to close.
PART-TIME Preschool, Nursery and
Kindergarten CLOSE if P.G. County Public Schools close for
the entire day.
If P.G. Public Schools OPEN LATE, all
of our programs operate on normal schedules.
If P.G. Public Schools CLOSE EARLY, call
the Center and plan to pick up your child early. |
The CDC is a ministry of the church with service
provided by degreed
Christians. All programs are Christian‑based and developmentally
age‑appropriate.
2007-2008 School Year Program
1. Full‑time Preschool
An "All Inclusive" educationally based opportunity for
3-5 year-olds is available from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Morning and afternoon snacks and lunch are included. Enrichment activities
including Spanish, Art, Music, and Chapel. Children must be 3 years old by
September 1st, and be toilet trained.

2. Part‑time Preschool
This is an
opportunity for three and four year olds to experience the vital segments of the
Full-time Preschool curriculum within a fun and caring structure. Choose
the two or three day a week program that best meets the needs of your family.
Children must be 3 years old by September 1st and be toilet trained.

3. Full‑time Nursery School
This is an
opportunity for children who have had their second birthday to develop healthy
social skills in an enjoyable learning environment. Morning and afternoon
snacks and lunch are included. Age-appropriate curriculum is used to begin
laying the foundations for learning. Hours are available from
7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Toilet training is not required.

4. Part‑time Nursery School
This is an
opportunity for children who have had their second birthday to develop healthy
social skills in an enjoyable learning environment. You may choose times
from 7:00 am through 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. Toilet training is not
required. The program is available for 2 Year Olds. (Minimum of 6
hours per week)

5. Kindergarten
This component is
designed to encourage school-age children to master emergent
cognitive, social/emotional, and physical skills fostered in spiritual
awareness. Sessions are held Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Children must be 5 Years Old by September 1st. This program
may be supplemented with before and after care as needed.
